WCFab Billet Aluminum Upper Valve Cover sets for the 2001-2004 LB7 6.6L Duramax Diesel are a great way to clean up your engine's appearance as you are upgrading its performance. This valve cover set features the proper built in clearances for competition engines equipped with rocker studs. Integrated o-ring seal replaces OEM gaskets and prevents the need for silicone sealers. Includes countersunk stainless steel fasteners and black anodized #10 JIC (-10AN) fittings for installation. We include a fresh set of injector fuel line gaskets with each kit. Finished in raw aluminum ready for polishing or painting standard. Custom Color Powder Coat finishes are available as an optional upgrade and carry additional lead time.
We recommend pairing these with our Top Outlet Billet Thermostat Housing and Upper Coolant Pipe kits (or a forward-facing thermostat setup). These valve covers do not include brackets for the side mount routing of the OEM setup.
***NOTE: These valve covers do not have OEM-style mounting bosses to accept factory fuel filter housing brackets and other OEM-type items. Modifications to wire harness tabs and mounting brackets are necessary for installation of this product. Glow plug module must be relocated to firewall with hardware sourced separately***
