Description

***This kit includes 60" long bars for Super Cab Short Bed and Crew Cab Short Bed Models***

***This kit is for 2011-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty Trucks***

Built in house at WCFab carrying a LIFETIME WARRANTY against bending or breaking (to original purchaser). Traction bars are a necessary upgrade when increasing the horsepower on your diesel truck to prevent the axle from twisting which can lead to broken u-joints, driveshafts, and even twisted axle housings. Our traction bar brackets bolt on to the bottom of the axle tube via the axle u-bolts and weld to the frame on the front end. We use a high quality RockJock rebuild-able and grease-able “Johnny Joint” heim connection at the frame to allow for adjustment of torsion on the axle or if you raise/lower the rear of your truck. At the axle connection we use a heavy duty Poly Urethane Bushing for decreased noise and vibration which is common complaint if a solid heim is used on both ends. Grade 8 hardware connects the bars to the mounts on the frame and axle. We complete our traction bar kit with our professional in house powder coat process in your color choice and comes standard with a epoxy Primer base coat before the final color which increases corrosion resistance by more than ten times compared to just your standard powder single coat application.

Transcript

Hey everyone, welcome back. We've got behind us here our 2022 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke F350 Tremor package. We had a video a couple of months back where we talked about how we just recently got this truck, and we've started development and have been testing for a little while now. A lot of new Ford products for the 6.7L Power Stroke owners. So, we are adding another truck to our shop truck stable for taking to events and shows and showing off our product line. We can't leave anything alone. We can't leave it factory. So we left it up to the sales team guys and marketing to put a real basic mild build list together, and I thought I'd go over that today on the upgrades that we've done to this 2022 Tremor that you'll be seeing out at events this year with all of our new WCFab product under the hood.

FORD F250 and F350 POWER STROKE REAR DIFFERENTIAL COVER AVAILABLE IN 12 & 14 BOLT
One of our new products that will be released soon is our fabricated aluminum rear differential cover. It’s very similar to the differential cover we've offered for many years for the GM and Dodge platforms. Now, it is going to be available for the 6.7L Power Stroke as well. We will offer two versions, the 12 BOLT and the 14 BOLT, depending on which rear axle you have in your truck. The F250 sometimes comes standard with the 12-bolt axle. When you get to the F350s and some of the different options that Ford offers, you can have the 14 BOLTt axle. So that rear diff cover’s a nice fabricated aluminum piece with nice stainless hardware and an additional option for upgraded ARP stainless fasteners.

FORD 60-INCH AND 68-INCH TRACTION BAR KITS NOW AVAILABLE
We now offer a specific traction bar kit for the Fords with a nice weld-on frame side bracket. Previously, we had our universal weld-on kit, which was weld-on brackets at the axle and a weld-on bracket at the frame. Now we offer a kit specific for the forward rear axle, whether you've got the three-and-a-half inch, four-inch, or four-and-a-half-inch diameter axle tube. We've got an axle side mount bracket that connects to the U-bolts, which are specific for whichever size axle tube you have. So you can check out the traction bar kits. Those have been available for the Ford platform for a little while now

CARLI SUSPENSION SYSTEM
The next thing we wanted to do with the truck was a leveling kit. Get the truck leveled out, and a nice tire and wheel package will make it look good. We're not one for keeping stock tires and wheels on trucks around here, and definitely not stock height.

From the factory, the Tremor is a little bit taller in the front, so it's only about an inch and a half of lift in the front, whereas your standard F250/F350 will be like a two-and-a-half inch lift, non-Tremor package. So, we opted for the Carli Suspension System. We didn't want to do a full-on lift kit, big lift on this truck, because we like to show off and show off the WCFab product under the hood, and you get 'em too tall you can't see. So, that's why we opted for the leveling kit. Give it a nice look. We did the Carli Backcountry 2.0 kit, the Backcountry two-and-a-half-inch kit, which comes with its 2.0 spec shock with remote reservoirs that you can see here. They're lift springs, which we powder-coated semi-gloss black, upgraded brake lines, and then we opted for the sway bar end link upgrade kit. We might upgrade to their full-on sway bar kit later down the road. But first, we wanted to stick with the factory sway bar and start with that.

The Backcountry kit from Carli also comes with their upgraded track bar system, which uses some nice heavy-duty joints and is a much stronger track bar. Of course, with our custom powder coat shop, we had to powder coat everything, so we coated the track bar to match the truck. And then, last but not least, from Carli, we did their upgraded radius rod kit that replaces the factory-stamped steel radius arms with a nicely fabricated heavy 3/16th TIG welded radius rod with adjustable caster components depending on the lift of your particular setup. So that rounds out the suspension setup we did on our shop truck here. Gives it a nice look, not too crazy tall as far as the lift. Of course, with the leveling kit, we had to upgrade the tires and wheels.

KMC GRS WHEELS AND MICKEY THOMPSON TIRES
We're going for a little bit more of an off-road look with this truck compared to some of the other rigs we've done in the past. We've got a set of KMCs GRS wheels opted for the silver finish, which matches the Tremor, and the 6.7L Power Stroke badging nicely sets it off there versus an all-black wheel like we typically would do. It's a 20X9 by with a zero offset. It fits the side of the truck nicely and still makes good use of the fender flares. And then we wrapped those KMC wheels in the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss all-terrain tire. They're 35X12.50. They fit nice in the fender well. You could get a 37 to fit, but we opted for the 35. Again, we didn't want to get the truck too much taller so that you could still check out under the hood.

UNDER THE HOOD - COMING SOON
You may wonder what’s under the hood. We've been testing many new Ford products over the past several months. We've got a handful of test trucks besides our personal truck here. We are really excited to do a follow-up video and start talking about all the new 6.7L Power Stroke products that are going to be released soon. So stay tuned to the channel and watch what we have to come for the 6.7L Power Stroke. Thanks a lot for watching.
